Learn Everything About Outlook 2007

Sometimes users want to know how large their mailbox size is as an alternative to the warning they get when they are near capacity.

To have a user check their own mailbox size in Outlook 2007 they need to:

  1. Right click on “Mailbox – NAME HERE” (This can be found under Mail Folders)
  2. Click on Properties
  3. Click on “Folder Size…” near the bottom of window
  4. Click on “Server Data” tab in the new window

The Folder Size window will appear and the user should click on Server Data tab to get a glimpse of their total size in KB. There will also be a breakdown of how much each subfolder contributes to the total mailbox size.
