Sometimes users want to know how large their mailbox size is as an alternative to the warning they get when they are near capacity.
To have a user check their own mailbox size in Outlook 2007 they need to:
- Right click on “Mailbox – NAME HERE” (This can be found under Mail Folders)
- Click on Properties
- Click on “Folder Size…” near the bottom of window
- Click on “Server Data” tab in the new window
The Folder Size window will appear and the user should click on Server Data tab to get a glimpse of their total size in KB. There will also be a breakdown of how much each subfolder contributes to the total mailbox size.
